Poconos

Each year we head up to the Shawnee Mountain area (Poconos, PA) once or twice.  We always go up in the fall to enjoy the cooler weather, do some swimming in their indoor pool, etc.

This picture was taken at the top of Camelback Mountain.   There's a state park up there.  This is one of the highest points in the Poconos, and the view is really great!  Dad used to come up here to operate his ham radio during VHF contests with a bunch of guys he calls the Packrats (put in a link here!).  Dad and I were collecting rocks for my collection.  Right after this, we went to a really fun place to eat at the bottom of the mountain.
